Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between each function?

The function of the Spiralizer assembly is for creating thin ribbons of vegetables and fruit that can be used instead of pasta. It also keeps all the content in the Spiralizer basket. This then creates little mess or residue.

The function of the Shooter assembly is for slicing and shredding, which operates like a traditional food processor cutting the food into thin slices or finely shredded strips and expels it out of the chute. The assembly has a double-sided blade, one side for shredding and the other for slicing.

Can I put hot ingredients or liquid into the veggie bullet?

Never put hot ingredients or liquids into any of the veggie bullet accessories as this can damage the unit and present the potential risk of burn injuries.

Can I put the veggie bullet in the dishwasher?

All the accessories and attachments (except the power base) can be put on the top rack of a dishwasher.

Can I use the accessories in the microwave oven? Are they freezer safe?

No, the veggie bullet containers are not microwave or freezer safe.

Are veggie bullet parts interchangeable?

All veggie bullet parts are labelled and should only be used in conjunction with the relevant parts.

The Shooter Set parts are labelled 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D and are used for Shredding or Slicing. The additional Shoestring Fry Blade also attaches to the Shooter set.

The Spiralizer Set parts are labelled 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D and are used for Spiralizing. The Ribbon blade, Udon blade and Angel Hair blade all attach to the Spiralizer set.
