Cauliflower Crust Pizza

Who knew low-carb pizza could taste this good? Replace your regular pizza dough recipe with this veggie-filled alternative!

Ingredients

375g raw cauliflower rice 
65g shredded hard mozzarella cheese
65g shredded parmesan cheese
125g almond flour
1 egg, beaten

Directions

Preheat oven to 200°C.

Place the raw cauliflower rice in a mixing bowl. Microwave for 3 minutes to steam the cauliflower.

Place the steamed cauliflower in a colander and strain out excess liquid. (Push down on the cauliflower to get the water out).

Transfer the strained cauliflower to a mixing bowl.

Add cheeses, flour and egg. Combine/mix to form a dough.

Form the dough into a ball.

Place the ball on a greased baking sheet and spread it flat into your desired shape.

Bake at 200°C for 10 minutes until golden but not browned. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.

Add the pizza sauce and desired toppings. Place back in the oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
