Mexican Hot Chocolate Gelato

Rich, chocolatey and infused with a warming hint of spice, this Mexican hot chocolate gelato is a deliciously indulgent frozen dessert.

Ingredients

  • 240ml Milk, whole
  • 40g Cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 30g Sugar
  • 2.5ml Vanilla extract
  • 3g Ground cinnamon
  • 0.65g Cayenne pepper - add 50% more if you like it SPICY
  • 120ml Heavy cream

Directions

In a bowl, combine the milk, cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and cayenne. Whisk until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Stir in the heavy cream

Pour the mixture into the nutribullet Chill Cup and cover with the Lid. Freeze for 24 hours.

When ready to process, uncover the Chill Cup and twist the Blade Block into place.

Attach the Chill Cup to the Motor Base and twist to engage.

Select the GELATO setting and press the centre START button.

When the program finishes, press the Release button and twist off the Blade Block. Serve immediately or store in the freezer.
